- Krishna at the age of 89 spoke Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna and now at the age of 125 years is speaking Uddhava Gita.
- Krishna is ever well-wisher of living entities – suhrdam sarva bhutanam.
- Living entities are shackled by sex desire in this material world.
- When lust is fulfilled, it creates greed and when not fulfilled then one becomes angry.
- Days and nights pass in sense gratification.
- Two things drive people. One drive is gross sex desire and subtle sex desire like name, fame, money. And the other drive is of sound vibration.
- Spiritual practitioners get driven by sound vibration of holy name and glories of the Lord.
- When Krishna is satisfied then all our spiritual desires will be fulfilled, and we will be protected by the illusion of maya. So, we should endeavor to satisfy Krishna.

- Verse Number: ŚB 7.5.30
- Chapter Name: Prahlāda Mahārāja, the Saintly Son of Hiraṇyakaśipu
Important Points from the Class
- When we read SB and hear it daily in temple then we get mercy of Srila Prabhupada.
- In the beginning of SB, SP has quoted Prahlad Maharaj section version – kaumaram which means SB should be read from childhood onwards.
- Prahlada life is in 3 parts – childhood, dealing with father, how to ask benediction from the Lord.
- Hiranyakasipu asked Prahlada, “What you learnt?” Prahlada said, “This world is dark well, so we should take shelter of Hari.”
- HH BCSM says, “Kali attacked two places – India (headquarter) and brahmana (general).”
- Hiranyakasipu asked Prahlada who taught you about Vishnu?
- Those whose senses are controlled for them to practice devotion to Krishna is very difficult. Its like filling water in a pot which has holes.
- Unless we control our senses, bhakti cannot start.
- Krishna bhakti means serving Krishna and not taking service from Krishna.
- What is Krishna Prem? It is to serve Krishna. Krishna is already serving us by giving us everything – sun, water, food and so on.
- HH BCSM says if you are not doing service to Krishna with joy then better don’t do. There are so many devotees of Krishna ready to do anything for Krishna.
- We see the world as per our thought process.
- Who loves us can know what is there in our heart. Similarly, only those who love Krishna can know Krishna.
- Mayavadis say Lord is impersonal because they do not want to serve the Lord.
- We go to Vrindavan for sense gratification. Real darshan of Vrindavan will happen when we will give up all material attachment and sense gratification.
- First step is guru kripa, by the mercy of guru we will be able to give up sense gratification.
- In Vrindavan to see Radha and Krishna, we will need the mercy of Rupa and Santana.
- In this verse SP talks about the importance of serving devotee because this is the way to attain mercy of Krishna.
- We hv tried to give up sense gratification but has failed always, the only solution is to understand that we are orphan, and Krishna is our only saviour.
- It is important to understand that sense gratification is bad, is like poison. We have to understand this and if we are not understanding it then we should understand in the association of devotees.
- There are devotees in Mayapur who has nothing – just two sets of clothes, bead bag and mat to sleep. We should take inspiration from them.
- For us celebrating Janmashtami, Rath Yatra, making temple etc are our services to Krishna in this material body.

- This knowledge is being given by 5 year old Prahlad to his father, Hiranyakasipu.
- First we should know, we are soul. And the goal of soul is Krishna and the abode of Krishna’s abode.

- Goal of materialistic people is, durāśayāḥ , being ambitious to enjoy this material world, but this is never fulfilled.
- After bhoga there is always suffering but still people indulge in sense gratification.
- artha–māninaḥ — People consider sense gratification as valuable.
- Prahlada Maharaja does not accept guru hereditary guru, seminal spiritual master, Sukracharya. Sukra means semen.
- Just like the weight of electron no one has seen, but scientist has seen. Similarly, we hv not seen the abode of Lord but there are great devotees of the Lord who has seen the Lord.
- We should accept pure devotees as our guru then only we can know the real goal of life.

- People who think that they can be happy in this world by sense gratification becomes miserable.
- Prahlada Maharaj says, “One cannot be freed from material attachment unless one takes the dust of the lotus feet of those devotees who do not have anything to do with this material world. We should understand that even this body is not mine but belongs to Krishna. That is the consciousness of a pure devotee.”
- By bathing with the lotus feet of devotees, one becomes pure.
- We reveal our heart to those whom we love. Similarly what is there in the mind of Krishna can be understood only by his pure devotees who love him.
- Sarbhaumya bhattacharya when he came to know that LC is from Navadwipa, then he developed affection for him and thought of speaking Vedanta to him.
- A devotee becomes courageous by the mercy of Krishna.
- Without the mercy of Krishna, we cannot know Krishna.
- When one understands that Krishna is the supreme Lord causes of all causes develops ananya bhakti for Krishna.
- For eg when a soldier fights for the country theneverything is given by the government, similarly when one does Krishna bhakti then krishna gives everything to him required for his bhakti.
- Just like when one goes nearer to the sun then one’s body becomes warmer, similarly when we goes closer to Krishna, we develop qualities like Krishna.
- The best way to go closer to Krishna is by chanting his names i.e. Hare Krisnhna Mahamantra.
- Gita’s last verse say that wherever Krishna is there is everything. Krishna and his name is non different.
- No one came from china or Russia to WB but by their books made many wb communist. If mateirla literature is so powerful then we can understand how much powerful is spiritual literature.
- SB if one hears again and again then one will definitely develop love for Krishna.
- Best way to spread KC is by distribution SP’s books.

On one story was electric shock, another piece of cheese and one floor hot puff of air. rats entered into one after another and got different experiences. - One person who came to know that he has just 7 days to live then he decided to utilize these 7 days in travelling to different places, eating various delicacies and so on. His video became very popular, and he became very famous. But we see that Parikshit Maharaj left everything and went to the bank of the Ganges for spiritual realization when he came to know that he has just 7 days to live.
- Unless Viswamitra Muni signalled Lord Rama, he did not go to life the bow in Sita’s swayamvar. This means that we should always act under spiritual guidance.

When Srila Prabhupada came to know, he said to the devotees that go and tell the pujaris that if they continue doing pujari service then next life, they may get an opportunity to be part of Mahaprabhu’s Sankirtan movement and will get an opportunity to distribute Bhagavad Gita.
